ABOUT OUR PRESIDENT
Dr. Patricia B. Easley is a recognized expert in talent management and leadership development. She has provided career counseling to individuals in academia, corporate, private, religious, and public arena. She has personally instructed thousands students, including graduate/undergraduate, federal, state, and local government employees as well as community activists, in such skills as research techniques, leadership development, cultural diversity, English usage, writing techniques, proofreading, career planning, organizational development, human resources development, professional development, ethics, community organizing, and environmental justice.
Dr. Easley serves as a project manager for governmental grants and has successfully managed multi-million dollar grants. She serves as a facilitator for not-for-profit and community-based organizations. Patricia is also a mediator, certified by DePaul University and has been on the faculty of numerous universities as both adjunct faculty and dissertation chair/member. She is certified by the State of Illinois as a high school teacher. She is a board certified coach and a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator facilitator. Dr. Easley’s formal education includes a Baccalaureate degree in Business Education, Master of Science degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Certificate in Public Management, and Doctorate in Adult Continuing Education, with emphasis in Human Resources Development, Participatory Action Learning, and Public Management. Her professional interests include community participation, talent management, leadership development, career counseling, school-community relations, and community environmental justice.
